How do I know if I choose the right pass for me?

Decide which cities or towns you want to visit. It’s easier to choose the right pass if you have an idea on where you want to travel.
Also try to plan your overnight stays. How many nights you are planning on staying on each destination and will you spend any nights on trains? Keep in mind that if you´re travelling with an overnight train it’s the day of departure that will count as the day of travel.

Will you travel from and back to your country of residence? The pass includes one outbound and one inbound journey within your country of residence, remember that these journeys counts as travel days on your Interrail Pass.
Sometimes it will be worth it to buy your journeys within your country as full price tickets to spare your travel days.

Count how many days you will use your Interrail pass. It’s not the amount of days of your whole holiday that counts, it’s the amount of days you will travel with train. You can also make how many transfers you want during your days of travel.
